The cabins right on the water with stunning lake views are absolutely incredible. The friendly and interesting staff made everything super fun and easy. The reasonably simple cabins are clean and nice. The location is perfect with bars and restaurants nearby. The food is ridiculously good!

Had a sumptuous continental breakfast and enjoyed activities like snorkelling and fishing. The guest house even has a private beach area, ATM, and free WiFi. So many things to do, I couldn't find time to relax!
Oh, the pleasure of climbing a mini hill to reach the reception. So invigorating!

My partner and I stayed at Reggae Guest House for three days during our trip to Lake Toba. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the lake from the common area. We also loved how convenient it was to have the ferry drop us off right in front of our room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with discounted motorbike rentals and organizing a jet ski pickup. The rooms were clean and had a nice, spacious bathroom. And of course, the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious with a wide range of options. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, with the room just a couple of meters away from the crystal-clear waters of the lake. I could jump right in for a swim from my room, which was such a unique experience. The views from the cafe upstairs were also breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the mountains and the lake. The hotel staff were incredibly polite and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. They even helped me arrange discounted motorbike rentals for two days, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding areas. Plus, they arranged a jet ski ride for me, and the pickup was right in front of my room. The ferry to Tigga Raja also conveniently stopped right in front of the hotel, making transportation very convenient.
For us, this hotel was absolutely ideal.
